Reconstruction in the centre of St-Petersburg is very important experience because tower cranes should be installed within historic buildings and this is difficult and demanding challenge. Tight working space, lots of coordination, caution. It is a special zone where objects are unique.

The first tower cranes with a big capacity for 40 tone has been applied in St-Petersburg on the construction of Western Speed Diameter. Two cranes TEREX CTT 721 have been used.

A real breakthrough for UM-3 was working under project for building a new terminal of airport “Pulkovo”. 12 tower cranes with a different capacity were working hard 24 hours per day.

Prevention Facility Complex

The most difficult project was to install cranes TEREX CTT 91 in Sochi in the highest points within the mountings especially for Olympic jobsites Sochi 2014.

Also our cranes were applied during constructing Saint Petersburg Flood Prevention Facility Complex. The complex is intended to protect Saint Petersburg from storm surges by separating the Neva Bay from the rest of the Gulf of Finland. Historically, the storm surges from the gulf has caused over 300 floods in the city, several of which have had a massive devastating effect.

Appointment of a new Director General

This is to inform that by the resolution of the Board of Directors of JSC "UM-3", dated 18.07.2016, Mr. Nikodim Kravchuk was terminated from the position of Director General of JSC "UM-3" according to the facts discovered by the result of special financial due diligence procedure. The new Director General of JSC "UM-3" (hereinafter - the Company), Mr. Slaviy Kolyada, who is the largest shareholder of the Company, was appointed.
